Vaccination Rate in Tambora Sub-District Touches 74 Percent

As of September 24, 2021, around 74 percent of total 221,000 targeted residents in Tambora Sub-district, West Jakarta or 167,000 residents have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

From 11 urban villages, only two are still in yellow zone, namely Pekojan and Angke Urban Villages

Tambora Sub-district Head, Bambang Sutarna mentioned, with this achievement, it means there are still 54,000 residents who haven't been vaccinated in 11 urban villages, including Angke, Duri Utara, Duri Selatan, Jembatan Besi, and Jembatan Lima Urban Villages.

"From 11 urban villages, only two are still in yellow zone, namely Pekojan and Angke Urban Villages. The remaining nine urban villages are already categorized as green zone," he said, Wednesday (9/29).

He informed, total 167,000 residents had taken vaccination through static vaccination services held in health centers, urban village offices, and sub-district health center, as well as dynamic vaccination services which held through collaboration with various parties, such as TNI-Police and private institutions.

Until today, his side continues to intensify vaccination activity thus it can reach 80 percent of total target.

"We are optimist that we can reach target of 80 percent to build herd immunity," he stated.
